1. General
1.11.1 This procedure provides the requirements and acceptance standards for
dye liquid penetrant examination in accordance with ASME Code Section I、
Section V and Section Ⅷ Division 1&2.
1.2 This procedure is only suitable for detecting the defects that are open to
the surface of material or weldment
1.3 This procedure shall be certified by demonstration to the satisfaction of
the AI prior to implementation.
